            Description

The Rowlinson Stapeley Garden Arch is a striking, modern take on a classic garden feature. Its horizontal slatted side panels and open pergola-style roof create an inviting passageway or decorative focal point in any outdoor setting. Built from pressure-treated timber, it offers long-lasting durability and protection against rot, ensuring it remains a stylish addition for years.

Designed with both aesthetics and functionality in mind, the Stapeley Arch is ideal for supporting climbing plants such as roses, wisteria, or clematis. As greenery weaves through the slats and across the overhead beams, it transforms into a natural, living feature that enhances the beauty of any garden. The open structure allows light to filter through, maintaining an airy and spacious feel.

Finished in natural timber, the arch can be left as is for a rustic, organic look or painted or stained to complement your garden’s colour scheme. Assembly is straightforward, with all fixings and clear instructions included, making it a practical yet elegant addition to your outdoor space.

Make the Most of Your Garden Arch

Position the Stapeley Arch as a welcoming entrance to your garden or patio, creating a sense of depth and structure in your outdoor space. Use it to define pathways or frame a seating area, adding style and function to your landscape design.

For a truly enchanting effect, allow climbing plants to intertwine through the slatted sides and across the pergola roof, forming a natural canopy that provides dappled shade. Alternatively, wrap fairy lights around the structure to create a magical setting for evening gatherings and summer nights.

            About Your Order:

We advise constructing the arch on a stable foundation for optimal results and longevity. Recommended base options are paving slabs or concrete. The timbers undergo a meticulous pressure treatment to ensure enduring beauty and structural integrity. It protects the wood from rot, decay, and the ravages of insects.

Please note the arch will require waterproof treatment upon assembly and annually after that. Upon delivery, the structure must be constructed and positioned on a stable and level foundation.

            Arch Maintenance:

The Rowlinson Arch is made from pressure-treated timbers for excellent durability and longevity. Rowlinson’s pressure-treated products do not require annual re-treatment. If desired can be painted or stained. An anti-rot solution in the timber structure, improving rot resistance. The treatment may leave a greenish tinge on the wood; this is normal and will grey over time. The manufacturer advises that if you want to paint your arch with a different colour, ensure the treatment you choose is recommended for pressure-treated timber.

elbec recommends Protek wood treatment. Browse our Protek Royal Exterior Wood Finish Paint range to find the best arch paint to add your own finish.
