            Description

The Rowlinson Cherington Garden Arch is an understated structure that quietly transforms your outdoor space. With a traditional square frame, diamond lattice panels, and a flat pergola-style top, it provides the perfect canvas for climbing plants to take centre stage. Whether framing a path or defining a transition between garden areas, it brings structure, softness, and vertical interest in equal measure.

Made from sustainably sourced timber and pressure-treated to defend against rot, the Cherington is built to withstand time in all weather. The natural timber tone blends easily into most garden styles, and if you prefer a splash of colour, it can be painted or stained to suit your scheme.

Its strong verticals and angled braces offer stability, while the open lattice sides invite roses, jasmine, or clematis to weave their way skyward. Supplied with comprehensive instructions and fittings, it’s easy to assemble and admire once in place.

            Features:

Framing finish - Smooth planed timbers

Treatment - Pressure treated for longevity

            Delivered flat-packed for easy construction

Make the Most of Your Garden Arch

Position the Cherington Arch over a walkway to frame your garden journey or set it between flower beds to create an inviting focal point. Pair it with fragrant climbers for a scented entrance, or use it as a backdrop for a garden bench to define a peaceful spot.

Whether it’s a subtle boundary, a floral feature, or simply a bit of architectural elegance, the Cherington makes your garden feel more intentional—and beautifully put together.

            About Your Order:

We advise constructing the arch on a stable foundation for optimal results and longevity. Recommended base options are paving slabs or concrete. The timbers undergo a meticulous pressure treatment to ensure enduring beauty and structural integrity. It protects the wood from rot, decay, and the ravages of insects.

Please note the arch will require waterproof treatment upon assembly and annually after that. Upon delivery, the structure must be constructed and positioned on a stable and level foundation.

            Arch Maintenance:

The Rowlinson Arch is made from pressure-treated timbers for excellent durability and longevity. Rowlinson’s pressure-treated products do not require annual re-treatment. If desired can be painted or stained. An anti-rot solution in the timber structure, improving rot resistance. The treatment may leave a greenish tinge on the wood; this is normal and will grey over time. The manufacturer advises that if you want to paint your arch with a different colour, ensure the treatment you choose is recommended for pressure-treated timber.
