With 12mm shiplap tongue and groove cladding, the inside of your shed has a good level of protection from the elements. With a 12mm tongue and groove roof and floor as standard, this is a feature you will struggle to find on sheds made by other manufacturers in this price bracket. This ensures that you have a roof that is strong and weather resistant as well as a floor with an impressive load capacity. Heavy duty green mineral roofing felt, supplied as standard gives extra protection from the weather and damage from damp or rot. The building really gets its strength from its robust 44x44mm framing, which ensures a sturdy building that will last. With six fixed windows and two opening windows providing an attractive feature to your shed and allowing loads of natural light to flood inside, the flexibility to control the internal temperature with the two opening windows is a must have feature for any potting shed to allow airflow. This shed supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire recommends that you apply a water based top coat. This will protect the timber from weathering on your shed making it last longer and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to the manufacturer's instructions. Shire recommends Protek Royal Exterior wood finish, available from elbec in many different colours. This is also a great way to refresh the look of your shed over time or personalise it to your liking.
