By using Protek Royal Exterior, you can make the Miami look exactly how you want it while adding extra protection to the timber.

Shire uses a robust 44mm x 70mm framework which gives the Miami stability that you will notice immediately. The high grade, slow grown timber used ensures a tight grain which adds extra durability to the summerhouse. The quality of the floor joists completes the Miami’s sturdy feel. The two small opening windows on the sides of the summerhouse are a useful feature, and a popular choice is to opt for changing the two fixed side windows to opening windows. The windows and doors are glazed with styrene, an environmentally friendly choice that is a safer alternative to traditional glass. Many choose to upgrade to toughened glass if they are looking for a clearer pane with all the same safety benefits of styrene. Additional Details about Your Order
All Shire summerhouses are supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown) for protection during manufacture and transit. You must apply a water based top coat of your choice. Shire recommends Protek wood treatment, available from elbec in a wide variety of different colours. This will protect the timber from weathering, making it last longer. The timber treatment will need to be repeated periodically in line with the manufacturer's instructions.
