Garden Shed Maintenance:

The shed comes with a factory-applied base coat but is otherwise untreated, so it requires treatment immediately after assembly and annual re-treatment to protect against rot. Please note, the base coat may vary in shade across parts of the shed. Mercia offers a 10-year anti-rot guarantee, provided the shed is treated annually with a wood preservative and a waterproof topcoat.

Delivery

All deliveries of our garden sheds are made to kerbside or driveway locations for your convenience. Our Mercia products are supplied flat-packed (except for fully constructed fence panels) and include clear assembly instructions. Your order will arrive via a pallet network, ensuring safe and efficient transportation.

The delivery process is straightforward and transparent. The pallet network will inform you of your delivery date, and you’ll also receive updates via SMS from the manufacturer’s delivery team if a mobile number is provided during checkout. On the morning of delivery, you’ll receive another SMS update with a link to the manufacturer’s portal, allowing you to track your order in real time.

Your order will be delivered on a 3.5T, 7.5T, or 18T lorry, depending on the size of the shipment. Please note that for health and safety reasons, and due to insurance liabilities, the delivery team cannot move items to the back of your property or through your home. This ensures the safety of both your property and the delivery team.

We strongly advise waiting until your order has been delivered and all parts have been checked before arranging for a third party to install your shed. This precaution ensures all components are accounted for and avoids potential complications or costs related to incomplete deliveries.
