Description
Welcome to the pinnacle of garden architecture - the Lugarde Select Modern Belfast Summerhouse. This masterfully crafted structure combines a well-appointed 388x250cm interior with a statement 400cm left or right-extending side canopy, all enhanced by a sophisticated brown wood oil finish that exudes warmth and refinement.
At its core, the summerhouse employs Lugarde's revolutionary Prima construction technology, utilising invisible aluminium reinforcements for unmatched structural excellence. The substantial 28mm and 44mm log cabin Nordic spruce walls, enriched with professional-grade brown wood oil treatment, deliver optimal thermal performance while showcasing the timber's natural beauty. The precision-engineered 18mm roof structure completes this superior build, ensuring decades of reliable service.
Natural illumination cascades through the thoughtfully positioned glazed double doors and opening window, creating an atmosphere of perpetual welcome. The brown wood oil finish serves dual purposes - protecting the timber from Britain's varied weather whilst lending a timeless aesthetic that matures gracefully.
The piece de resistance - a magnificent 400cm side canopy - extends your living space into the garden with architectural flair. This covered outdoor area, finished in matching brown tones, seamlessly transitions between indoor comfort and outdoor living.
Laminated windows and doors
Unlike many log cabins and summerhouses, Lugarde features laminated windows and doors, especially those made with 45mm thick laminated wood. This construction method makes them less likely to warp over time. Laminated wood is made by bonding multiple layers together, resulting in greater stability compared to solid wood. By using high-quality engineered wood and MDF, Lugarde ensures these elements are highly durable and resistant to warping.
The Prima System: Innovative and Strong
Lugarde’s Prima system is an innovative construction method that sets this summerhouse apart from others on the market. With its sleek, contemporary design, the Prima system uses a post-and-panel construction where panels are slotted into hidden aluminium corner posts, offering a clean and modern appearance. This contrasts with the traditional log cabin design, where logs extend beyond the corners, creating the classic "log cabin" aesthetic. The Prima system provides a minimalistic, modern aesthetic, making it ideal for contemporary garden designs.
One of the key benefits of the Prima system is its superior resistance to wood movement, as the panels are securely held within the posts. This results in a more stable structure over time compared to traditional log cabins, which are more prone to movement as wood expands and contracts with changes in temperature and humidity. The Prima system also offers wall thickness options of 28mm or 44mm, providing flexibility depending on your needs.
Not only does the Prima system combine the benefits of traditional log construction with the elegance of modern materials, but it’s also incredibly easy to assemble thanks to its modular design. With various shapes and configurations available, whether you prefer a classic square or a custom rectangular build, the Prima system ensures your summerhouse will be both visually striking and structurally sound. Perfect for those who appreciate modern aesthetics, ease of assembly, and lower maintenance, the Prima system allows you to create a durable and custom space with minimal effort.
Optional Extras:
Enhance your Lugarde Select Summerhouse with optional extras tailored to your needs and elevate its functionality. To ensure effective water drainage, choose a Zinc Rainpipe or Plastic Rainpipe set, each designed to fit your summerhouse roof (up to 18 m² with a single or double outlet). Both options ensure smooth water flow, safeguarding your structure and surrounding area from water damage.
Side Canopy - A back wall is included as standard, and you have the option to add a side wall as well. The side wall will match the chosen model's finish, available in untreated, brown oil, or black oil.
A ventilation airgrate set further enhances the comfort of your summerhouse, promoting better airflow and ensuring a fresh, airy environment.
Plastic floor beams
For long-lasting durability, consider plastic floor beams as an great alternative to traditional wooden beams. Unlike wood, plastic beams are resistant to warping, rotting, and moisture damage, ensuring they maintain their shape and strength over time. They’re also low-maintenance, requiring no treatments or preservatives, and are resistant to pests like termites. Plus, plastic beams are often lighter, making installation easier while still providing robust support. Choose plastic beams for a hassle-free, long-term solution.
These optional extras allow you to customise your Lugarde Select Summerhouse, creating a space that suits your unique style and functional needs.
