The Hampton Premium Summerhouse is an attractive building which is particularly spacious and fits perfectly into the corner, wasting no space.

Manufactured in the UK, Shire's summerhouses are renowned for their quality and is probably make the best value for money summerhouses in the UK today.

A great space to relax in and enjoy the outdoors even on those cooler evenings. Two large opening criss-crossed windows combine with the matching double doors to provide a bright and airy atmosphere inside.

There is no extra cost for our opening windows. Produced to the highest standards using quality timbers from sustainable sources. Shire buildings are made from a high grade ship-lap tongue and groove construction.

This is distinguished from fast grown type timber used on cheaper sheds from other manufactures. Tongue and groove construction means the building is better sealed from the elements. The timber used is a continental slow grown timber. Slower grown timber means tighter grain, extra strength and longer life.

Frame -  A robust Planed 35x35mm (1 1/2' x 1 1/2') framework (walls and floor) that gives the building strength.

Floor -  manufactured from high quality 12mm planed tongue and groove matching pattern boarding.

Roof -  constructed using 8mm Oriented Strand Board (OSB), Roof felt supplied.

Walls -  are constructed using high quality 12mm thick softwood planed tongue and groove shiplap pattern boarding.

Treatment -  all Shire buildings are supplied with a factory applied first coat treatment in a honey brown water based product. The summerhouse will require a second coat wood preservative to be applied.

Windows -  are properly morticed and tenoned. They are opening, profiled, and weather resistant. The window has a unique profiled 'lip' that covers the aperture of the opening in the panel making it weather resistant. Casement stays have 2 levels of opening. The glazing is 3mm horicultural glass. All glazing is retainedby profiled beading which is pre-mitred (no awkward corners to be cut).

Doors: Joinery double doors with 3mm horticultural glass glazing.

Treatment: All Shire garden buildings are supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product (colour can vary from the picture shown). Shire the manufacturer recommends that you apply a water based top coat of your choice. This will protect the timber from weathering on your shed making it last longer and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to the manufacturer's instructions.

Supplied flat packed for ease of handling and assembly. All fittings and felt are included in the price with clear easy to follow instructions.

Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE DELIVERED TO KERBSIDE AND ARE FLAT PACKED READY FOR ASSEMBLY

FREE delivery is offered to the majority of mainland UK postcodes but some areas may incur a surcharge and some postcode areas are not covered at all. Please check your postcode in the ‘Delivery cost checker’ above to confirm availability and any possible surcharges.

Delivery Leadtimes
The estimated delivery lead time for this product is identified on the product page above. Lead times are in working days (Monday - Friday) excludes Bank Holidays. These estimated lead times are provided by the manufacturers and are not guaranteed - due to fluctuation in demand - but are provided in good faith and are representative of delivery at that time. Some remote areas will take a little longer.

Booking Delivery
By entering your postal code in the ‘Pick a delivery day. ENTER POSTCODE’ Box above you can select a delivery date. The evening before this delivery date you will be sent a text message (where a mobile has been provided) with an estimated delivery window.  This update can only be provided where a mobile number has been supplied on the billing address section at the time of checkout.

Upon Delivery
Delivery is made by Shire the manufacturer. Delivery of this item is typically made by a 17 ton flat-bed (similar size to a council refuse lorry). Delivery is typically between 7am and 7pm. The delivery drivers are only insured to deliver to kerb side or driveway. We would not risk damaging your property whilst delivering a product. Unfortunately we will not be able to go through your property. Deliveries are hand-balled off by the driver.

We would recommend against arranging for a third party to install the building before it's been delivered and checked that all parts are present, as we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs.

Installation option
If you are choosing the installation option after placing your order you’ll be contacted within 5 working days by Shire the manufacturer either by a text message or automated telephone message (the latter if a mobile number is not supplied). This message will supply you with the name of the website to go on to where you will be required to accept the terms and conditions for assembly. Any delay in accepting these terms and conditions may affect your timescale. Once you have accepted these terms and conditions you will be contacted during the timescale with a date for the delivery/assembly of your order. The installation option will extend your lead time by up to 15-25 working days. This may take longer during seasonal periods. Please be aware that the installation team will require full access to your garden, 18" clearance all around the building and a firm and level base. Shire's installation team will not bring a building through your home as they are not covered by insurance to enter a customer’s home.

"Absolutely beautiful. Delivery within a week. All parts included. Looks gorgeous and I can't get over what great value for money it's been. Time will tell re: weather proofing but so far holding up well and we've had quite a few storms. Really happy so far. I was worried to order after the some of the reviews. But it's gorgeous. "Absolutely delighted with our new summerhouse. Everything about the process was perfect, from initial planning right through to delivery and installation. The information on the site is great, better than is provided on others and much cheaper. Ordering was simple and the team arranging the delivery were incredibly helpful and pleasant. Arrived on the date given and assembled for us the same day with lovely workmen who cleaned up after and made sure it was in the right spot. The summerhouse itself is perfectly sized for us, enough room to comfortably fit a small table and 2 chairs, plus we have a small portable toilet in there and trunks to keep towels and dressing gowns in so we never need to drip water all over the house if we're having a few hours in the hot tub. It looks stunning now it's been painted. Couldn't be happier. "

"Very happy with this Hampton corner summerhouse, we’ve had many happy times, used it all through lockdown, We have had our summerhouse since 30/06/2017 and this year maybe next it will need another coat of stain to spruce it up. Left out for four winters and will probably need to have new felt put on before this winter. Some nice little extra’s with house was a few spare panes of glass and two spare window latches..Overall no complaints, well made easy to put together, will definitely need two people due to the weight of the pieces."

"Purchased this summer house March 2021. From ordering to delivery it was easy . Polite staff provided us with a delivery date and it arrived bang on . The quality is good value for the cost of the summer house . We did choose to paint the summer house before assembly which we would highly recommend to preserve its life. We used Cuprinol which painted and covered well. Assembly is straight forward with easy to follow instructions we had all the components nothing was missing . We had toughened glass and opening windows as it can get rather warm inside . All in all we think it will be a well used extra room in the garden we are very pleased with the purchase . "
