The wood is kiln-dried to a precise moisture content of 14-16%, guaranteeing structural integrity and resilience. Sturdy 9 x 9 cm laminated posts support the cabin's robust design, which rest on boiler pressure-impregnated bases for enhanced environmental protection. Weather strips on the door add further defence against the elements, and the log corners are crafted to withstand harsh weather conditions.

The cabin's contemporary pent roof, with a subtle 3-degree angle, features a generous 300mm overhang for additional weather protection. Double doors, equipped with double glazing and laminated to prevent warping, are knot-free and fitted with chrome-finished, spring-loaded handles for both style and practicality.

Inside, 18mm thick flooring boards and decorative skirting boards enhance the cabin's rustic charm. The untreated spruce allows for customisation, allowing you to personalise the finish to your taste and create a unique space.

About Your Order

The Lugarde Log Cabins uses wood suppliers that are PEFC certified, underscoring a commitment to sustainable sourcing practices. Its central mission is to deliver fully recyclable products and minimise the generation of waste wood and sawdust. Moreover, any waste wood and sawdust are repurposed for other uses.

Each log cabin is delivered as a ready-to-assemble kit as individual logs, complete with all necessary fixings, a detailed construction manual, and all required window and door hardware, ensuring a seamless setup process from start to finish. The log cabin has a 5-year and 12-month manufacturer's warranty to enjoy it for many seasons.

Does A Log Cabin Require Planning Permission?

The garden building designs have been created to adhere to planning permission guidelines. However, we cannot guarantee that you will not need planning permission for a log cabin.  We advise checking with your local authorities before constructing your garden room.

Log Cabin Base

We recommend that log cabins are sited on pre-laid, level, solid and dry ground. A foundation of hardcore, compacted, and concrete to give a stable and even footing for your cabin to sit on. You can request 'Guidelines for Preparing a Concrete Base' through our Contact Us Section. This log cabin is supplied with comprehensive fitting instructions and fixings provided. Two people are required to complete the build.

Gorilla Ground Screws

Unlike conventional foundations, ground screws, typically 1050mm and 1200mm in length, offer a quick and clean installation process. Log Cabin Aftercare

The Lugarde Log Cabin is supplied untreated. To ensure you enjoy your garden cabin for many seasons, you must apply a preservative and waterproofing topcoat immediately after installation. These treatments, followed by yearly log cabin treatment, will maintain the high-quality finish and retain the 5-year warranty. A 1-year manufacturer's warranty is included as standard.

Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE MADE TO THE KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY. This product is delivered flat-packed in individual logs directly to your home and comes with a set of instructions to assist with assembly.

Booking Delivery

Deliveries are made using a Moffett forklift by the manufacturer's chosen carrier company. Towards the end of the delivery timeframe, you will be contacted by the carrier company via text message (if a mobile number is provided) or by telephone to arrange a delivery date.

Prior to Delivery

The estimated delivery lead time for this product is displayed on the product page above. Lead times are in working days (Monday to Friday) and exclude Bank and Public Holidays. These estimates are provided by the manufacturers and, while not guaranteed due to fluctuations in demand, they are given in good faith and represent the expected delivery time. Please note that delivery to some remote areas may take a little longer.

Upon Delivery

We recommend not arranging for a third party to install the building until it has been delivered and all parts have been checked. We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs.

Orders with Assembly 

Delivery and assembly will occur on separate days. Our manufacturer's chosen installation company will contact you with an assembly date. The installation option may extend your lead time by up to 10 working days. Please use our Contact Us form to obtain a quote for assembly from our Sales Team.
