Built using Lugarde’s patented Prima system, it features hidden aluminium corner posts for a clean, seamless look while providing excellent structural stability.

This summerhouse log cabin is designed to bring the outdoors in. Its glazed double door fills the space with natural light, and an additional opening window enhances ventilation, making it comfortable in all seasons. The 28mm and 44mm thick log walls, crafted from kiln-dried spruce, provide insulation and durability, while 18mm tongue-and-groove roof boards add extra strength.

A standout feature of this model is the 300mm side canopy which has the option of left-sided or right-sided positioning, which extends the living space and offers a shaded outdoor area ideal for seating, dining, or relaxation. Laminated windows and doors

Unlike many log cabins and summerhouses, Lugarde features laminated windows and doors, especially those made with 45mm thick laminated wood. This construction method makes them less likely to warp over time. Laminated wood is made by bonding multiple layers together, resulting in greater stability compared to solid wood. By using high-quality engineered wood and MDF, Lugarde ensures these elements are highly durable and resistant to warping.

To ensure effective water drainage, choose a Zinc Rainpipe or Plastic Rainpipe set, each designed to fit your summerhouse roof (up to 18 m² with a single or double outlet). Both options ensure smooth water flow, safeguarding your structure and surrounding area from water damage.

Side Canopy - A back wall is included as standard, and you have the option to add a side wall as well. The side wall will match the chosen model's finish, available in untreated, brown oil, or black oil.

A ventilation airgrate set further enhances the comfort of your summerhouse, promoting better airflow and ensuring a fresh, airy environment.

About Your Order

The Lugarde Log Cabins uses wood suppliers that use sustainably sourced timber, underscoring a commitment to sustainable sourcing practices. Its central mission is to deliver fully recyclable products and minimise the generation of waste wood and sawdust. Moreover, any waste wood and sawdust are repurposed for other uses.

Each log cabin is delivered as a ready-to-assemble kit as individual logs, complete with all necessary fixings, a detailed construction manual, and all required window and door hardware, ensuring a seamless setup process from start to finish. The log cabin has a 5-year and 12-month manufacturer's warranty to enjoy it for many seasons.

Does A Summerhouse Require Planning Permission?

The garden building designs have been created to adhere to planning permission guidelines. However, we cannot guarantee that you will not need planning permission for a log cabin.  We advise checking with your local authorities before constructing your garden room.

Summerhouse Base

We recommend that summerhouse are sited on pre-laid, level, solid and dry ground. A foundation of hardcore, compacted, and concrete to give a stable and even footing for your cabin to sit on. You can request 'Guidelines for Preparing a Concrete Base' through our 'Contact Us' Section. This summerhouse is supplied with comprehensive fitting instructions and fixings provided. Two people are required to complete the build.

Summerhouse Aftercare

The Lugarde Summerhouse is supplied untreated. To ensure you enjoy your garden cabin for many seasons, you must apply a preservative and waterproofing topcoat immediately after installation. These treatments, followed by yearly summerhouse treatment, will maintain the high-quality finish and retain the 5-year warranty. A 1-year manufacturer's warranty is included as standard.

To treat the wooden summerhouse, elbec recommends Protek wood treatment. Delivery

ALL DELIVERIES ARE MADE TO THE KERBSIDE OR DRIVEWAY. This product is delivered flat-packed in individual logs directly to your home and comes with a set of instructions to assist with assembly.

Booking Delivery

Deliveries are made using a Moffett forklift by the manufacturer's chosen carrier company. Towards the end of the delivery timeframe, you will be contacted by the carrier company via text message (if a mobile number is provided) or by telephone to arrange a delivery date.

Prior to Delivery

The estimated delivery lead time for this product is displayed on the product page above. Lead times are in working days (Monday to Friday) and exclude Bank and Public Holidays. These estimates are provided by the manufacturers and, while not guaranteed due to fluctuations in demand, they are given in good faith and represent the expected delivery time. Please note that delivery to some remote areas may take a little longer.

Upon Delivery

We recommend not arranging for a third party to install the building until it has been delivered and all parts have been checked. We cannot be held liable for any third-party costs.

Orders with Assembly 

Delivery and assembly will occur on separate days. Our manufacturer's chosen installation company will contact you with an assembly date. The installation option may extend your lead time by up to 10 working days. Please use our Contact Us form to obtain a quote for assembly from our Sales Team.
