Delivery Leadtimes

The estimated delivery lead time for this product is identified on the product page above. Lead times are in working days (Monday - Friday) and exclude Bank and Public Holidays. These estimated lead times are provided by the manufacturers and are not guaranteed - due to fluctuation in demand - but are provided in good faith and are representative of delivery at that time. Some remote areas will take a little longer.

For larger items, the carrier will contact you to schedule a convenient delivery date. For smaller items, the carrier will send an email with the delivery date and a tracking link for online monitoring.

Vehicles We Use
Deliveries will be made using larger lorries that can access most locations. Typically, we use a 7.5-ton lorry, similar in size to a dustbin lorry. However, the actual size may vary depending on the item being delivered. If you have concerns about restricted access to your property, please contact us before placing your order.

Unloading Of Your Delivery
Because of the product's characteristics, delivery will occur at the front of your property, to the closest accessible point. Our drivers are unable to transport these items into your home or back garden. When items are delivered on a pallet, both the pallet and packaging are non-returnable, and movement is possible only on a flat, level surface (not on gravel driveways) using a pallet truck. Sometimes, the driver may split the package to aid in moving the item. We'll request you to inspect the goods upon delivery, ensuring satisfaction before signing off on the delivery.

Installation Option

If you opt for installation, please note that delivery and assembly will occur on different days. Choosing installation will extend your lead time by approximately 25-30 working days from the order placement date for installation. Installation Guidelines

“IMPORTANT: Before starting any groundwork, select the location of the pergola you plan to install. Refer to the product dimensions and footprint provided in the specification section to determine where the concrete footings should be placed.

NOTE: For optimal results, we recommend a 400mm³ concrete footing under each pergola foot. If a paved patio or timber decking already exists, inspect the ground below to ensure it is suitable for installation. If the ground is unsuitable, concrete footings must be laid, and the existing decking or patio reinstalled on top to ensure a secure and stable base for the pergola.

When laying concrete footings, consider the fall of the existing surface. Building regulations allow a maximum fall of 1:80 (12.5mm per metre) for surface water drainage. Exceeding this fall will result in non-compliance with regulations. If unsure, seek professional advice. Ensure the concrete footings are solid and level to provide a stable base for securing the pergola feet. If the footings are not level, additional shim kits can be purchased before installation.

If you plan to install optional  retractable blinds on your pergola, note that the maximum fall for each leg cannot exceed 10mm, as exceeding this may impede the smooth operation of the blinds.

Each pergola comes supplied with a ground anchoring kit. This includes 80mm stainless steel expansion bolts suitable for concrete footings. The quantity may vary depending on the pergola's size.

Ground Fixing Methods:

Ensure a Stable Foundation for Your Pergola

If you’re uncertain about the levelness or stability of the surface where your pergola will be installed, we recommend using 400mm³ concrete footings. These footings can be seamlessly integrated with any of the surface options listed below, providing a secure and durable base for your outdoor structure.

Patio Slabs or Block Pavings:

If the condition of the groundwork is uncertain, we suggest lifting the existing patio and installing 400mm³ concrete footings for each pergola leg. Once completed, the original surface can be re-laid.

Decking:

Because timber and composite materials can naturally shift over time, it's important not to install a pergola directly onto decked areas. Instead, we recommend installing 400mm³ concrete footings beneath the decking surface to provide a strong and stable base for your pergola. If you're unsure about the installation process, it's best to seek professional advice.

Loose Aggregates:

A pergola should not be installed directly on loose aggregates. To ensure stability, place a 400mm³ concrete footing beneath each pergola leg when installing on this type of surface.

We strongly advise assembling your pergola in favorable weather conditions. This will help ensure a safe assembly process, reduce potential risks, and support a secure and successful installation.
