Description
The Dip treated 16 x 10 Mercia Premium Shiplap T&G Modular Workshop from Mercia is ideal if you’re looking for something a little more flexible and specific to your needs. Every panel has been intricately designed to be interchangeable to suit you. Want the doors at the back? Easy! Need a window on both sides? Done! Simply pick your desired size and construct the building in a way that fits you and your garden.
The windows are made of shatter-resistant styrene glazing that can be placed in a configuration of your choice, thanks to the modular design. The roof and floor are constructed with heavy duty 12mm tongue and groove boards, adding to the traditional look of the strong shiplap cladding. It' stronger roof support design with metal bracing adds to its high specification premium finish. All timber used in this used from sustainably sourced timber. As a workshop, this shed has ample headroom, so you are comfortable as well as secure whilst doing a hobby or some DIY.
Heavy duty roofing felt is also included as standard, which works with the sloped angles of the apex roof to divert rainfall away from your workshop. If security concerns you, the hasp and staple included on the double doors can easily fit a padlock.
This building is supplied flat packed with detailed instructions and all the fixtures needed to complete assembly by yourself. We recommend that you build your workshop with one or two trusted friends, or simply add the option to have your building professionally assembled by our team when you order.

Installation
This product is supplied flat packed with instructions and all the fixings necessary to complete construction. The Mercia Premium Shiplap Apex shed has a ‘modular’ design, which has many advantages. It means that the wall panels of the shed are manufactured in smaller parts, making handling and assembly easier as well as increasing the overall strength of the building. You've the option of our manufacturer's installation service if you still feel putting the shed together is not the job for you. We advise against arranging for a third party to install the building before it's been delivered and you've checked that all parts are present, as we cannot be held liable for any third-party costs.

Aftercare
The shed is supplied untreated except for a factory applied base coat. This base coat may differ in shade across parts. This dip-treated product requires treatment immediately after assembly, and thereafter annual re-treatment to protect against rotting. There is a 10 year anti-rot guarantee from Mercia, dependant upon the building being treated annually with a wood preservative and a waterproof topcoat. Our manufacturer recommends Protek Royal Exterior wood paint to protect your shed, you can select your colour choice from the paint options on this page.
