Framework: A robust planed 44mm x 44mm (1 3/4' x 1 3/4') framework (walls and floor) that gives the building strength.
Walls: The walls of the summerhouse are constructed using high quality 12mm thick softwood planed tongue and groove shiplap pattern boarding and is sustinably sourced timber. It uses specially designed tongue and groove cladding to give you a summerhouse that is not just durable but also a summerhouse tsustainablyhat looks great in your garden. Also our planed tongue and groove shiplap cladding design closes the pores and together with its curved profile promotes the run off of water making the summerhouse more water resistant.
Floor: The floor is manufactured from high quality 12mm planed tongue and groove matching pattern boarding. The summerhouse floor also comes with high quality floor joists giving the summerhouse a solid sturdy feel and greater load capacity.
Roof: The roof is constructed from plywood and includes roofing felt. The plywood has a high uniform strength.
Doors: Double Doors are manufactured using proper joinery. Fully glazed with environmentally friendly styrene which is a safer alternative to traditional glass. The double doors on the Highclere Summerhouse allows plenty of light to flood in.

Full assembly instructions are provided with the summerhouse and with all the fittings in the box as standard you will be amazed at how simple your summerhouse is to install.
Treatment: All Shire garden buildings are supplied pre-treated with a base coat to both sides in a golden brown water based industrial product. Shire the manufacturer recommends that you apply a water based top coat of your choice. This will protect the timber from weathering on your shed making it last longer and will need to be repeated accordingly in relation to the manufacturer's instructions.
